Most welcome, and thanks a lot for the compliments. :)
I try to slowly go into a more painterly place, where I can be somewhere between matte painting and the kind of complex amazing-ness in your style and other painters'. But still a long way to go and focusing on learning atm... step by step hehe.

I really like this Great work. +fav the tone/mood is really warm but has such a large about of cool tones, that balance of contrast is very appreciated.

Wonderful style.

I love the harsh, white lighting on the two reptile men and the mount! It immediately demands attention from the cooler, ominous buildings in the background and invites you to look a little closer at the characters! Awesome work!

Great use of that dim lighting. The sharp slice of light that illuminates the foreground is immediately captivating; it's high contrast compared to the otherwise dreary lighting of the rest of the piece is very powerful.

In terms of the rest of the scene, the gnarled branches and reaching stems of the plants paired with the shadowy, dark lighting scheme conveys a distinct atmosphere of mystery, haunt and sinister.

I love how you played with the dim lighting - it allows the ominous structures to be recognizably scary without using too bright of a light and ruining the dark sensation of the piece.
The way the buildings also seem to rise out of the darkness only adds on to this effect, reinforced by the vertical nature of the piece. The dark background does great work of framing the piece naturally in addition to all of this.
Awesome work!
