For several months, I've been working on either personal project that I can't share yet, or confidential ones, so not much to update here. But I know many of you were expecting tutorials, and it's probably the right time to show some processes of work here.
Each of these finished artwork (the step by steps) took me more time than usual, from 20 to 30 hours of work, spread over time (only spending 30 minutes up to an hour on them from time to time), this process helped me to keep a fresh look on each artwork over time, and was good to fix the most I can and to get closer to what I wanted to illustrate.
I usally start with a 1600 canvas wide, using large -dirty customed- brushes to define the main shape, idea and composition, then, once I get a satisfying result, I scale it up to start defining elements (above 3000p).
I would like to Thanks all of you for your constant interest and attention, it's more than appreciated !
Also, don't forget to have a look to my main website for more :

Old Forest Trees Assets
Hello all,
I’m nowadays working on sketch-oriented art assets to be used directly in our work, as well as to practice rendering, image composition, …
This is a process I use a lot in my illustrations : working on different elements of a picture, then putting it together to compose the image.
I still don’t know if this is relevant to share it here with you, but at least some of you could make good use of this initiative.
I’m just starting to share on this project, and so far, only one pack is available to test freely, but I plan to add more in the future.
The pack is downloadable at the link below : https://www.max
Concept Art of For Honor
For Honor, the video game I'm presently working on has finally been announced !
To help understanding the process of concept art involved in the creation of the environments for the game, please check the article below :
Note : The website will ask you the first time you visit to enter you date of birth, this is because some videos of the game are rated 18+ because of the violence of some action scene, but nothing in the article about the concept art should offend you !

Abomination
Finally back to the journal for a little news about a project going to be released soon !
During the past two years (yet starting in 2011), I've been working on illustrating a story by the renown and talented scriptwriter Bragi Schut.
If you have the chance to attend to San Diego's ComicCon at the end of the week (JULY 24-27), drop by and say Hi to Bragi, he'll be exhibiting the book in the small press area, F10.
Anyone interested in more details, please check out the following link of the amazon pre-order page :

For the art side precisely, soon, I'll be able to show some vi
Some links
Not much to display these days about my personal work, so here is some links pointing to either personal work information, tutorial or a video made from illustrations for the new Prince of Persia game.
First is an interview given to RaygunRevival.com http://raygunrevival.com/Published/RGR_0047_2008_10.pdf
as they featured my work for the cover of the #47 issue of the magazine.
It has taken some time, but here is a tutorial explaining the creation of "the Dump", written for CgSociety : http://features.cgsociety.org/story_custom.php?story_id=4650
Finally, a video trailer for the coming Prince of Persia videogame, created only from illustrat
